Mikaela is delighted to be part of The Hudson Exploited Theatre company. She has worked with them in many capacities from Actor to director to producing collaborator. Most notably, she was Jane in Jane Ho produced off broadway on Theatre Row directed by Arian Blanco. She is very thankful for all the opportunities. Theatre credits include Jesse in Night Mother, Imaginging Madoff, Slaughter City, and Solange in Jean Genet’s The Maids (Garage Theatre Group) which earned her a nomination for Best Lead Actress in NJ by the Star Ledger. Other favorite roles include Stella in Moss Hart’s Light up the Sky (Centenary Stage Company), Moe Green Gets it in the Eye (Helen Hayes – B-way), An Empty Plate at the Café Du Grande Boeuf (The Arden), The Smell of the Kill (Women’s Theatre Company), Top Girls, Becoming Memories (Pittsburgh Playhouse), I Hate Hamlet, Arms and the Man (Mountain Playhouse), Breaking Legs (Polka Dot Playhouse), The Emma Lazarus Story (Ellis Island), Meet Me and Mongolia is Ours (Mint Theatre), An Old Fashioned Love Story by Tom Sleigh (HexTc-directed by Arian Blanco) and Beware the Man Eating Chicken by Henry Meyerson, published by Samuel French. Tours include Oliver Twist, and Jews and Jesus by Oren Safdie. Film; Spike Lee’s Inside Man and Boor of No Importance directed by Joe Paul in which she stars alongside her husband and leading man, Osborn Focht.
